About the Role
Phakisa Holdings, a well-established supply chain company based in Linbro Park, is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in warehouse supervision, strong computer literacy, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, dispatching, storage, and inventory control)
- Lead and manage warehouse staff to ensure productivity and compliance with company standards
- Ensure accurate stock control, cycle counts, and inventory management
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards within the warehouse
- Ensure on-time dispatch and receipt of goods
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and organization
- Liaise with customers regarding deliveries, queries, and service levels
- Prepare and submit operational reports as required
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Proven track record in warehouse supervision (minimum 3-5 years experience preferred)
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, Warehouse Management Systems)
- Strong customer relations skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
