Job Description

About the Role

R.A.W. GROUP is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer/Stock Controller to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management, you will be responsible for evaluating products, suppliers, and services to ensure cost-efficient and high-quality purchases.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate products, suppliers, and services
Negotiate with suppliers
Ensure that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality
Manage the supply chain
Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
Track shipments, receive orders, and address any delays
Oversee storage of products
Evaluate supplier offers and negotiate profitable deals
Maintain an accurate inventory of both stock items and transactions
Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required
Generate Purchase orders

Requirements

Manufacturing industry experience beneficial
National Senior Certificate
Drivers licence
Competent in Microsoft applications
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Fully bilingual-English and Afrikaans
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
