George: Procurement Officer / Stock Controller posted by R.A.W. GROUP

R.A.W. Projects is seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as a Procurement Officer/Stock Controller.

As a Procurement officer, you will be responsible for:

1. Evaluating products, suppliers, and services.
2. Negotiate with suppliers.
3. Ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supply chain management.
• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
• Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
• Track shipments, receive orders and address any delays.
• Oversee storage of products.
• Evaluate suppliers offers and negotiate profitable deals.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of both stock items and transactions.
• Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
• Generate Purchase orders.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing industry experience beneficial
• National Senior Certificate.
• Drivers licence.
• Competent in Microsoft applications.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Fully bilingual-English and Afrikaans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
