Germiston: Engineering Technician (Mechanical) (Pharmaceutical Industry)

Minimum requirements: Will be based in the maintenance department Must be Qualified – Trade tested Fitter and Turner Pharmaceutical industry experience on Manufacturing equipment: – Tablet compression machines (essential) – Encapsulation machines(essential) – Coating machines and – Granulation equipment Pharmaceutical industry experience on Packaging equipment: – Rotary fillers (essential but not necessarily pharmaceutical experience required) – Piston Fillers (essential but not necessarily pharmaceutical experience required) – Sachet fillers – Blister machines (Rotary and flatbed type) – Labellers and – Cartoners Will initially be a 3 month fixed term probationary contract after which it may become a permanent contract if the candidate is successful. This is however a vacancy for a permanent position. This individual will need to work shifts. Monday Thursday 8h00-16h30 and Friday 8h00 15h30. Shift allowance is paid.
