About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor & Compliance Intern to support our organisation’s internal audit and compliance functions on a 1-year fixed-term internship. The intern will work closely with the Senior Internal Auditor, gaining practical exposure to auditing, risk management, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing internal audit and compliance activities
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
- Support compliance monitoring and adherence to internal policies and regulations
- Prepare audit and compliance work papers and reports under supervision
- Assist in identifying control weaknesses and suggesting improvements
- Support follow-ups on audit and compliance recommendations
Requirements
- Degree in Internal Auditing, Auditing, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related equivalent qualification
- Basic understanding of internal audit and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- High attention to detail and ethical conduct
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Professional judgment and confidentiality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
