A leading provider of specialized heavy-infrastructure solutions is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Production Manager to oversee large-scale operational delivery. This role is pivotal in ensuring that complex projects are executed with precision, safety, and technical excellence within a demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Direct and manage the full production lifecycle, ensuring all project deliverables meet strict timelines and quality standards.

• Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive production schedules and resource allocation plans to maximize efficiency across multiple concurrent projects.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain rigorous safety protocols on-site and within the facility, ensuring all operations align with industry-standard SHEQ frameworks (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001).

• Technical Management: Oversee the maintenance and deployment of specialized technical equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal uptime.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary technical team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

• Financial Control: Manage production budgets, monitoring expenses and optimizing resource utilization to maintain project profitability.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of management experience in a high-pressure industrial environment.

• Industry Background: A proven track record within Mining Engineering or Large-scale Manufacturing sectors is essential.

• Technical Proficiency: Must have hands-on experience and a deep understanding of Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) operations and safety standards.

• Health & Safety: Must be a non-smoker due to specific safety and environmental requirements of the operational sites.

• Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Management.

• Systems: Strong proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven reporting (e.g., SAP or Power BI).

Important Information (NB)

The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of managing large-scale technical deployments and possess the leadership maturity required for complex industrial environments. Deep knowledge of mechanical compliance and preventative maintenance strategies for TMM fleets is highly advantageous.
