About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data & Predictive Analytics Specialist to join their team in Midrand. This role is ideal for an analytically strong, commercially minded individual who enjoys solving complex problems and working closely with business stakeholders to embed insights into operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and operationalise predictive models for defaults, collections, profitability, and forecasting
- Translate business strategy into practical data-driven solutions with measurable impact
- Deliver and present customer analytics, including segmentation, behavioural insights, profitability, and telematics analysis
- Work closely with business stakeholders to embed insights into daily operations
- Drive creative problem-solving using data to shape recommendations and influence decisions
- Transform fragmented data sources into clear, actionable business insights
- Mentor junior analysts and lead end-to-end delivery of insight initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or related quantitative field
- 5–8+ years in analytics, insights, or data science roles
- Proven experience building predictive models beyond standard credit risk modelling
- Track record of transforming messy, multisource datasets into business-ready insights
- Strong background in customer analytics (segmentation, profitability, behaviour, telematics)
- Experience partnering with stakeholders and embedding data insights into operations
- Exposure to strategic, innovation, or commercial projects
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members
