Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the receiving of tyres, ensuring accurate documentation and quality standards are met. Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders. Collaborate with the Treading Department to prioritize and allocate materials efficiently. Maintain up-to-date inventory records using systems. Lead and train receiving team members to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies. Address and resolve issues with shipments, including coordinating with vendors or suppliers as needed. Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus. Proven experience in receiving, warehouse management, or a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of inventory control practices and quality inspection procedures. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead a team effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
