About the Role
A well-established company that offers professional steel processing services is currently recruiting for a SigmaNEST Programmer in the Germiston area. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team, responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing CNC Cutting programs using SigmaNEST software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC cutting programs using SigmaNEST software
- Interpret Engineering drawings and convert them into accurate cutting instructions
- Ensure maximum material yield and minimize waste through effective nesting strategies
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years experience as a SigmaNEST Programmer within a steel service centre environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC cutting processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and familiarity with manufacturing workflows
