Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines using Fanuc control systems.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure precision and accuracy in the machining of components to required tolerances.
- Conduct first-off inspections and make necessary adjustments to machine settings.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain high levels of quality and safety standards at all times.
- Work efficiently under time constraints to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with workshop supervisors and quality control to ensure optimal workflow.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of continuous hands-on experience as a CNC Setter Operator in a precision machining workshop.
- Proficiency in using Fanuc control systems is essential.
- Ability to work from technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work in Benoni and commit to the terms of a contract position.
