Job Description
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of stock in our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Book in stock against GRV Supply and prepare invoice for payment
- Process order and reconcile, transfer, adjust and maintain stock
- Resolving stock queries
- Analysing of surplus inventory to determine usage levels and stock conditions
- Coordinate transfers in and out of the warehouse, tracking all movements
- Make purchase requests, contract vendors and ensure flow of goods
- Working with Sales staff to ensure inventory levels are set appropriately to accommodate upcoming projects
- Coordinate with shipping to ensure all receiving shipments are moving in and out of warehouse as scheduled
- Generate reports on inventory balance and shortages
- Analyse Stock Levels and pricing
- Work with internal staff / branches for efficient supply chain
- Analyse forecast received
- Prepare purchase order in accordance with stock requirements
- Consider lead time in stock levels
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders
- General admin duties
- Providing information needed for budget preparations on an annual basis
Requirements
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Computer literate in Pastel, Outlook & Word
- Minimum Grade 12
- Strong Administrative skills
- Accuracy and detail orientated
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
- Trustworthy, reliable, self-disciplined with high integrity
- Previous inventory or warehousing experience
