Administrative
Duties:
Manage administrative tasks including creating and processing quotes for catering, novelty cakes, and meals. Handle general admin work, including maintaining records, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Process invoices and manage accounts using Sage software. Customer Engagement: Provide excellent customer service by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and welcoming guests. Coordinate with customers for cake and catering pick-ups, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate events, from small gatherings to large-scale catering services. Work with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth execution of events. Practical Ad-hoc
Duties:
Handle on-the-spot issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Assist with other practical tasks as needed to support the team. Marketing & Social Media: Manage social media accounts in line with the restaurants branding parameters. Promote events, specials, and holiday promotions through engaging content on social platforms. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies. Qualifications: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software. Experience in event planning and coordination. Ability to handle practical challenges with a calm and resourceful approach. Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required. Personal Attributes: Proactive and self-motivated. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Remuneration: R17 000 – R20 000 CTC Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
