About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor role at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd is a critical position that requires a skilled and experienced individual to oversee the maintenance of our hospitality settings, including hotels, lodges, and game reserves. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, while also providing excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Perform repairs and replacements as needed, with attention to quality standards
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance teams, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress
- Implement preventative maintenance systems to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions, working closely with guests and staff
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports and logs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements
- Trade qualification (Electrician, Plumber, or similar technical field preferred)
- Minimum 4–6 years’ maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector (highly advantageous)
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this position. However, relevant trade qualifications and experience are essential.
