Job Description
- Must have a Diploma, B. Tech., B. Sc., Hons or M. Sc. in Agriculture, Botany, Forestry or a related field
- Experience with herbicides in agricultural crop protection would be preferred
- Experience with field trials and research projects would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills would be advantageous
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Driving regional sales and achieving set targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, distributors, and agents.
- Executing regional marketing and sales strategies.
- Coordinating product availability and forecasting.
- Providing in-field technical support and stewardship for customers.
- Assisting with or managing field efficacy trials, including setup, spraying, and monitoring.
- Conducting competitor analysis and market reporting.
- Representing the company at industry events, field days, and client visits.
- Collaborating with internal technical, logistics, and R&D teams.
