About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in South Africa, leveraging their expertise to drive revenue growth and expand our luxury tourism product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and maximize complex relationships and buying patterns in our multichannel business
- Manage markets and assist in creation and implementation of agreed sales strategies and market plans to effectively penetrate identified markets
- Manage an effective and target-driven Sales Network
- Identify, prioritize, and maintain current knowledge of key players in the respective markets, with the ability to network and develop these relationships
- Execute strategies by representing the brand at a senior level with key industry figures and key clients
- Accountability for delivery on agreed revenue budgets
- Revenue Generation and Strategic Responsibilities that involve Sales Management & Development, Sales/Brand Representation & Negotiating
- Finance, General, Health and Safety
Requirements
- An applicable Degree or diploma would be advantageous
- A minimum of 3 years proven Sales track record
- Sales and luxury tourism product experience preferred
- Exposure to world-class sales management / transformation and digital / e-commerce practices a distinct advantage
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
