About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing, checking and verifying contracts and forms
- Managing contract renewals and tracking expiry dates
- Conducting cross-checks and ensuring accuracy of documentation
- Following up on outstanding information and document deadlines
- Capturing and verifying data (including utilities such as water and electricity readings where required)
- Gathering required information from internal and external stakeholders
- Performing sustainability and SHEQ-related administrative checks
- Identifying and rectifying administrative errors
- Providing general administrative support to management
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and internal control requirements
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) Diploma or Degree advantageous
- 35 years experience in an administrative role within a medium to large organisation
- Experience working within structured environments with policies and internal controls
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Valid drivers licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and process-driven
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Persistent and proactive follow-up skills
- Conflict management skills
