About the Role
The Application Solutions Architect will serve as a technical bridge between vendors, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams, designing and delivering robust, compliant technical solutions aligned with IM governance and architectural standards. This role is critical to ensuring seamless project execution and successful service introduction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution design for Acquire Grade Control, Datamine Ore Control, and related mining systems projects.
- Coordinate technical build, execution, and delivery activities.
- Own and produce technical documentation for service introduction and operational handover.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and decision-making throughout project lifecycle.
- Support technical planning, resourcing, and sprint leadership for vendor-led agile delivery.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in application architecture and cloud infrastructure architecture.
- Deep understanding of Mining Geology systems, especially acQuire Datamine product suite.
- Proven experience in system integration, especially between source systems and data reporting layers.
- Ability to function in dynamic, evolving project environments.
- Knowledge of the mining value chain and related business processes.
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent strong experience in solution architecture. Preferred but not mandatory: Data Architecture experience. Architecture certifications (TOGAF, Azure certifications) are also preferred.
