About the Role
We are seeking motivated graduates to join a well-established audit and advisory firm as Article Clerks. You will gain exposure across audit, tax, and advisory, working closely with clients and senior professionals. This role provides the structured path required to complete SAICA articles and qualify as a Chartered Accountant (SA).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit fieldwork and compile working papers in line with ISA standards.
- Execute tests of controls, reconciliations, and substantive procedures.
- Assist with financial statements (IFRS / IFRS for SMEs) using CaseWare/Draftworx.
- Support compliance for income tax, VAT, and provisional tax.
- Manage deadlines, liaise with clients, and deliver high-quality work.
Requirements
- BCom Accounting / BAcc (or equivalent).
- CTA/PGDA completed or in progress (advantageous).
- Strong academic grounding in Financial Accounting and Auditing.
- Proficiency in Excel; CaseWare/Draftworx exposure beneficial.
- Drivers licence (own vehicle preferred/required).
- SA citizenship or valid work authorisation.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
