About the Role
Our Client, a leader in the Hospitality and Entertainment industry, is seeking a Brand Manager to join their team based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies and plans, including brand positioning, messaging, and target audience identification.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies and plans
- Conduct market research to understand consumer trends, competitors, and industry insights
- Collaborate with internal teams such as graphic design team and Product Owner to align brand and marketing objectives
- Create and manage brand budgets
- Develop and implement promotional and advertising strategies and plans
- Develop and implement marketing tactics and activations to promote consumer engagement
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Maintain brand guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and compliance with Group Marketing Corporate Identity
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including agencies, media partners, and vendors
- Manage and implement product launches, events, and activations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or a related field
- 3-5 years experience as a Brand Manager, in both traditional and social media aspects
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and branding principles
- High attention to detail
- Service orientated and standards of high quality
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset
