About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to join our client in Johannesburg, a forward-thinking company committed to transforming the Insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving measurable, sustainable New Business growth by securing and growing strategic partnerships with motor dealerships and dealer groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and influence key decision-makers within Dealerships, and develop long-term, trusted partnerships across all dealership levels.
- Map dealership structures to uncover buying centres and partnership levers.
- Pitch and present tailored insurance solutions that fit each dealership’s unique business model.
- Drive joint success with Office Bound Sales Operation teams to service relationships.
- Create group-level plans that actually move the needle.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to ensure seamless sales integration with Motor Dealers.
Requirements
- 1-3 Years of experience in the Motor Trade (Car Sales, F&I Manager, etc).
- Proven experience in B2B Sales/Account Management (Motor Trade or Insurance Sector preferred).
- Strong communication skills: persuasive, concise, and confident with senior stakeholders.
- Sound commercial judgment and understanding of revenue drivers in motor retail.
- Own car essential, as the role requires travel and networking.
