About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. As a CI Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying areas for improvement, waste, and bottlenecks within our existing processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine existing processes to identify areas for improvement, waste, and bottlenecks
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data (including KPIs) to identify trends, measure performance, and support improvement efforts
- Design, develop, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and quality
- Manage and execute continuous improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Lead workshops, meetings, and training sessions to educate staff on CI methodologies and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Create and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other project documentation
- Prepare and present reports to management on project progress, outcomes, and impact
Requirements
- Minimum grade 12 or relevant NQF qualification
- Minimum BCom degree
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Kaizen events experience
- 5S methodology certification
- Value Stream Mapping experience
- Root cause analysis experience
- Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle model experience
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
