HireResolve has partnered with a leading Renewable Energy company that offers Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for Medium and High Voltage scopes to renewable EPCs, IPPs and utilities which enables sustainable energy solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to support the project execution from tendering to negotiations and execution for this growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Review, drafting, evaluation and negotiating of commercial and general business contracts with Clients, Suppliers and Sub-Contractors;
• Direct the Contract Management activities of project team members in the execution of projects;
• Referrals and rebuttals as required for disputes;
• Audit reports;
• Minutes of meetings as required;
• Expert knowledge and advice
• Perform administrative tasks in contract management and implementation.

Requirements:

• BCom Law or LLB
• 5-8 years experience in the Commercial Legal environment
• Experienced with contract management and standard (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.)/ proprietary contract form
• Expert knowledge of the family of New Engineering Contracts (NEC);
• Extensive knowledge of the early warning and compensation event/ variation procedures;
• Extensive working knowledge of the principles of design and construction projects
