Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Managed Services Project Manager to lead and manage the delivery of Data Centre MS projects. The successful candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in HVAC, UPS, generators, and DC plant systems, along with strong project management, team leadership, and customer relationship management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Data Centre Managed Services (MS) projects.
- Oversee daily maintenance, operations, and technical support of critical infrastructure including HVAC, UPS, generators, and DC plant systems.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business and client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and industry standards across the data center operations.
- Interface with customer operations and maintenance teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing operation and maintenance team.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and report on project performance and SLAs, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership and support to the Data Centre NOC Team for continuous and efficient monitoring of infrastructure systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in managing Data Centre Managed Services projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of data center systems including power, cooling, HVAC, UPS, generators, and DC plant systems.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders under pressure.
