About the Role

We are seeking a detail-driven Demand Planner to take ownership of forecasting, stock planning, and supply chain analysis across our growing cosmetics business. This is a desk-based, analytical role focused on ensuring the business consistently has the right stock in the right places, supporting 24 retail stores, as well as factory production and procurement planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse historical sales data and trends to forecast product demand
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand plans across all stores
  • Adjust forecasts based on seasonality, promotions, and market trends
  • Plan optimal stock levels across 24 retail stores
  • Ensure fast-moving products are consistently available
  • Identify slow-moving or excess stock and recommend corrective actions
  • Translate demand forecasts into production requirements
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and packaging for the factory
  • Align closely with procurement to support accurate purchasing decisions
  • Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and forecast accuracy
  • Identify risks such as potential stock shortages or overstocking
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports with insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain analysis
  • Background in FMCG, retail, or cosmetics preferred
  • Strong Excel skills (essential) and analytical capability
  • Experience working with sales data, forecasting, and planning tools
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
