Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing equipment or software across the organisation. The role requires timely and effective issue resolution, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Candidates should have 25 years of experience, solid knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
What you’ll do:
- Provide technical support and maintenance services by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing equipment or software.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and networking issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by ensuring clear, professional communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Perform on-site support as required to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and service activities accurately for reporting and follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure continuous service improvement.
- Maintain and update equipment, tools, and software necessary for technical support tasks.
Your Expertise:
- 2-5 year experience
- Knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- A + and N+
- Diploma in IT or similar
- Valid drivers license
