About the Role

Join our team as a Digital International E-Commerce B2B Sales Marketplace Specialist and drive international online sales through leading global e-commerce and B2B platforms. We’re looking for a self-driven individual with strong digital marketplace experience, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills to manage international customers across various time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive international online sales through eBay, Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress, Global Sources, ThomasNet, and other marketplace portals.
  • Manage catalogue-based industrial/engineering products, ensuring listings are optimized, leads are converted, customer relationships are maintained, and sales targets are consistently achieved.
  • Create, optimize, and update product listings (images, descriptions, technical spec sheets, pricing, SEO keywords).
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace rules, policies, and global trade requirements.
  • Respond to platform enquiries, RFQs, messages, and customer questions in a timely manner.
  • Generate and qualify leads generated through platforms such as Alibaba RFQs, ThomasNet inquiries.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–5 years’ experience selling products via global online marketplaces (eBay, Amazon Seller, Alibaba, Global Sources, ThomasNet).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets via online/e-commerce channels.
  • Familiarity with international shipping, Incoterms, duties, and export processes.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, cross-border payments, online sales funnels, and SEO for e-commerce.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in sales, marketing, business, e-commerce, engineering, or similar (advantageous).
  • Additional e-commerce certifications (Amazon, Alibaba, Google Digital Skills) are beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.

Salary & Benefits

R 30 000 Gross Commission on top. Salary package is dependent on skills, Qualifications, and years of relevant experience only. Discretionary Annual Performance Bonus.
