About the Role
A leading Furniture Manufacturing company based in Johannesburg South is seeking a strategic and highly organized Dispatch Manager to lead their outbound logistics operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments, including Warehouse Management and Sales & Production Planning, to ensure seamless delivery of finished goods to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordination: Orchestrate all outbound deliveries to ensure strict adherence to customer booking requirements and designated delivery windows.
- Third-Party Management: Oversee 3PL providers to ensure accurate and punctual dispatch of finished goods while maintaining compliance with internal protocols.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales & Production Planning departments to optimize delivery efficiencies and resolve potential bottlenecks.
- Administrative Oversight: Ensure the timely and precise processing of Purchase Orders (POs) and Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously monitor dispatch procedures to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
