Job Summary

Job Purpose: To produce precise and detailed engineering drawings in the hydraulics sector. Essential Qualifications & Skills: – Grade 12 (Matric) / N5 Certificate. – Mechanical Design Diploma or Draughting certification. – Minimum of 5 years experience as a Draughtman. – Expert level competency in using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. – Familiarity with MD Tools. – In depth knowledge of hydraulic systems . Specific

Duties:

1. Generating intricate sales drawings, 3D models and GA drawings of cylinders and manifold blocks. 2. Designing and reverse engineering hydraulic components such as cylinders, manifold blocks and hydraulic power packs. 3. Maintaining the drawing register and updating drawings/parts list. 4. Completing Engineering Change Notices (ECN). Administrative Functions: 1. Managing and resolving any queries related to engineering jobs. 2. Monitoring progress of jobs and providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders. 3. Liaising with clients and providing technical support to other departments. 4. Generating quotes for products and systems to be manufactured.
