About the Role
Telebest is seeking an experienced Electrician with Solar Experience to join our team. As a key member of our electrical services department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems. If you have a strong background in electrical systems, circuits, and solar power installation, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems
- Conduct site assessments for solar installations
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in solar power systems
- Collaborate with other team members on energy-saving projects
- Provide technical advice and support to clients
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician, with specific focus on solar energy systems
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and solar power installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panels and related equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the electrical and solar industry
- Physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment
Qualifications
- Red Seal certification
- Wireman’s license (beneficial but not compulsory)
- Additional certifications in solar energy systems or renewable energy (beneficial but no compulsory)
