Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and the overall growth and development of the team.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
– Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve department goals and objectives
– Ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timelines
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
– Manage department resources, including budget, staffing, and equipment
– Provide technical expertise and support to team members as needed
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:
– National Higher Diploma T4/S4 (Mechanical/Electromechanical)
– BSc Engineering (Mechanical/ Electromechanical)
– 0-15 years in an engineering manufacturing and design environment with workshop exposure
– 3-5 years of senior team management
– CAD drawing experience
– Materials processing/handling experience advantageous
– Ability to motivate and inspire team members
