About the Role
The Bill of Materials Clerk (Shopfitting) role is an essential part of our shopfitting and interior solutions provider’s operations, requiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage accurate Bills of Materials, collaborate with various teams, and ensure seamless material requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials for products and sub-assemblies.
- Update and revise BOMs to reflect engineering changes, design updates, or material substitutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to define and document material requirements.
- Capture, retrieve, and manage data within the company’s ERP/MRP systems.
- Investigate and resolve BOM discrepancies or material issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare, maintain, and file documentation related to material control, inventory records, and purchase orders.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience as a BOM Clerk, Materials Clerk, or in a similar manufacturing support role. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel. Experience working on SAP Business One is an advantage.
Qualifications
Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
