About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly analytical Finance Business Partner to join a leading industrial minerals group based at the Head Office in Johannesburg, GP. As a key member of the finance team, you will drive the business partnering strategy with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve the group-wide budget and forecast processes.
- Analyze business results, proactively investigate variances, and provide decision support for senior management.
- Oversee variable product costing, stock valuations, and raw material reconciliations.
- Assess and validate CAPEX feasibility and analyze new business opportunities.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and perform complex financial modelling.
Requirements
- Education: B.Comm Accounting or Financial Management Honours (CIMA or CA(SA) is highly advantageous).
- Experience: 3+ years in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Excellent MS Excel skills (formulas and Pivot tables); experience with Business Intelligence software (IBM Cognos/TM1) is beneficial.
