Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to oversee the full spectrum of branch financial operations: From producing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensuring every financial process aligns with industry regulations. With key responsibilities spanning treasury , SARS and tax compliance , and overall financial governance, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and regulatory certainty. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the accounts settlement function to ensure accurate, timely processing and high service standards. Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable and payable performance, ensuring strong controls and compliance. Drive process improvements, efficiency, and quality across finance operations. Ensure timely transaction recording, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting. Monitor billing performance, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions. Review balance sheet and income statement items, explaining variances against forecasts and prior periods. Manage tax compliance, statutory submissions, and payment schedules. Prepare forecasts, reforecasts, and financial presentations for management. Maintain accountability for team performance, outputs, and continuous improvement. Job Experience and Skills Required: Minimum 35 years experience in a managerial financial role Proven track record in a logistics environment (advantageous) Proficient in MS Office applications Strong working knowledge of SAP Solid understanding of financial reporting principles and requirements Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory financial calculations Strategic mindset with the ability to drive financial objectives High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Apply now!

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including analysis and commentary. Oversee the full accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, payroll, VAT, EMP, and statutory reporting. Develop, monitor, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and statutory requirements. Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making. Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies. Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Professional qualification: CIPA or CIMA is essential. Minimum of 810 years relevant finance experience, including management accounting and full accounting functions. Proven experience managing and developing a finance team. Strong understanding of statutory compliance, VAT, EMP, and financial reporting requirements. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Key Skills and Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and advise senior management. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
