About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreclosures Attorney to join our client’s legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and extensive experience in handling foreclosure cases. The Foreclosures Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, from pre-foreclosure negotiations to defending against foreclosure lawsuits in court.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents related to foreclosure proceedings
- Representing clients in mediation and negotiation with lenders to find alternatives to foreclosure
- Filing and defending against foreclosure lawsuits in court
- Advising clients on their legal rights and options related to foreclosure
- Keeping abreast of current laws and regulations related to foreclosure
Requirements
- LLB/LLM or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Admitted Attorney
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on foreclosures
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to foreclosure proceedings
