About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our water filtration systems division in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring high-quality delivery to clients. With a strong commercial, operational, and leadership capability, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight
- Driving revenue growth across residential, commercial, developer, and project-based markets
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share
- Preparing financial reports, sales forecasts, and performance analysis
- Managing client relationships from initial consultation through installation and after-sales service
- Overseeing installation scheduling and coordination using field service management systems
- Ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
- Acting as the main point of contact for key accounts and developer partnerships
- Managing stock control, procurement, and inventory systems to ensure optimal stock levels
- Overseeing ordering of filtration units, components, and consumables
- Monitoring stock turnover, margins, and cost efficiencies
- Using HubSpot CRM to manage sales pipelines, customer journeys, and reporting
- Working with field service applications to manage installation teams, job scheduling, and service tracking
- Ensuring accurate system reporting and data integrity across CRM, field service, and stock management platforms
- Streamlining operational processes through digital systems and automation
- Leading sales, operations, installation teams, and administration
- Coordinating cross-functional workflows
- Implementing process improvements to increase productivity and profitability
Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant experience in similar role required
- Strong proficiency in HubSpot CRM
- Experience working with field service management software
- Experience using stock/inventory management systems
- Ability to interpret data and use reporting tools for decision-making
- Strong commercial, operational, and leadership capability
- Comfortable working hands-on within a small business environment
