About the Role
Telebest is seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager in Public Sector to lead our team. As a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in public enterprises, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategies, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgets and ensure timely sales and forecasts
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet market share expectations
- Lead, develop, and coach the public sales team
- Identify business improvement opportunities and implement cost-saving activities
- Build talent by identifying and developing new leaders
- Communicate actively and clearly resolving any conflict that may arise
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales with 5 years of sales leadership for Public Enterprises
- Good decisional strategies and mental agility to understand complicated business challenges
- Drive ethical business practices and hold others accountable
- Build relationships with relevant stakeholders and be able to work flexible work hours
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
Qualifications
- 4-year tertiary qualification in Commerce or equivalent
- MBA or Master’s degree would be an advantage
- Sales accreditation would be an advantage
