Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy Development: Establish and refine comprehensive pricing strategies that align with market trends and business goals.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee performance analysis of existing portfolio offerings and make data-driven adjustments to pricing models.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a skilled pricing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Actuarial to ensure pricing strategies are effectively implemented.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify competitive positioning and potential pricing opportunities.
- Data Insights: Utilize advanced analytics to assess pricing effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all pricing practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with key stakeholders to present pricing strategies and gather feedback.
- Performance Metrics: Develop KPIs to monitor pricing initiatives and report on their impact on the company’s bottom line.
- Innovation in Pricing: Explore and implement innovative pricing models that enhance value for both the company and its customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of the insurance market, pricing theory, and financial forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful pricing strategies.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related analytical tools.
