About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import/Logistics Administrator to join our fast-paced team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end Import process of technical products, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in import logistics administration to make a meaningful impact on our company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full Import process
- Liaise with international Suppliers
- Coordinate with Clearing and Forwarding Agents
- Negotiate Shipping Rates
- Track Shipments
- Manage final Delivery to Customer
- Prepare all Import Documentation
- Ensure compliance with Customs regulations, Import Permits, HS Codes and Duties
- Maintain accurate records for Audit and reporting purposes
- Capture and maintain accurate Shipment and Inventory Data
- Reconciliations
- Assist with resolving discrepancies
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Import Logistics administration
- Solid understanding of Import procedures, Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding
- Computer Literacy including MS Excel and ERP systems
- Own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Grade 12 Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Import/export or related field (advantageous)

- Completed Grade 12 Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Import/export or related field
