About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import/Logistics Administrator to join our fast-paced team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end Import process of technical products, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in import logistics administration to make a meaningful impact on our company’s success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full Import process
Liaise with international Suppliers
Coordinate with Clearing and Forwarding Agents
Negotiate Shipping Rates
Track Shipments
Manage final Delivery to Customer
Prepare all Import Documentation
Ensure compliance with Customs regulations, Import Permits, HS Codes and Duties
Maintain accurate records for Audit and reporting purposes
Capture and maintain accurate Shipment and Inventory Data
Reconciliations
Assist with resolving discrepancies

Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience in Import Logistics administration
Solid understanding of Import procedures, Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding
Computer Literacy including MS Excel and ERP systems
Own vehicle
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Grade 12 Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Import/export or related field (advantageous)

Qualifications

Completed Grade 12 Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Import/export or related field
