Industrialisation Engineer Elandsfontein, Johannesburg Minimum requirements: B-Eng./B-Tech. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Project management experience At least 5 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment Experience in the new product development Exposure to tool and die making, an advantage Exposure to electronics, an advantage Responsibilities: Industrialisation of new products and product modifications Active participation in the product design phase to influence manufacturability, assembly, and cost Optimally convert the Product Baseline (PBL) into the Manufacturing Baseline (MBL) Use the Pre-Production phase to evaluate and update the Manufacturing Baseline (MBL) Ensuring all aspects of Impact Engineering Change Proposals are processed according to: Cost, Phase-out, Implementation, and Stock Technical support on assembly processes and component manufacturing processes Initiation and execution of Failure Diagnostics and Corrective Actions Compiling and submission of technical reports and progress reports, and various administrative functions in accordance with processes and procedures.
