Our client has an EE opportunity available for an Information Security Analyst based in Selby.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in information security or a similar field.
• Industry certifications.
• Knowledge of:
  • Cloud security platforms.
  • Firewalls and malicious code defense.
  • Cybersecurity technical assignments, standards, tools and processes.
  • Common attack vendors.
  • Vulnerability assessment tools.
• Endpoint and network security tools or techniques.
• 2 years experience within either an information security position or in cybersecurity.
• 2 years IT administration experience.

Responsibilities:

• Gather information related to Technology Transformation and Innovation.
• Conduct analysis and planning activities.
• Conduct investigations on the uses of data encryption, firewalls and other appropriate security tools.
• Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause.
• Provide input into the design of your area of responsibility.
• Proactively configure and monitor security alerts.
• Verify authorized access by conducting reviews of logical access on systems.
• Identify and respond to threats to meet or exceed defined SLAs/.
• Conduct risk and quality management within your area of responsibility.
• Create awareness of IT Security good practices to the relevant stakeholders through communication and training.
• Adhere to processes and policies.
