About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Cloud Security Engineer to join our team as a contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native security controls within AWS, ensuring the scalability and compliance of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud-native security controls within AWS.
Configure and maintain firewalls, WAFs, and DDoS protection to safeguard applications and infrastructure.
Develop and enforce authentication and access management policies across cloud environments.
Collaborate with enterprise teams to automate security processes.
Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in cloud environments.
Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams on secure cloud practices.

Requirements

Intermediate Cloud Security Engineer experience (4 – 6 years)
AWS security services expertise
WAF configuration skills
Knowledge of cloud-native security frameworks and compliance standards
