Johannesburg: IT Ops Manager

Responsibilities: Designing new SQL databases and configuration for private markets Building new portals for clients to access portfolios in meaningful ways Overseeing IT infrastructure, architecture, desktop support and network performance Identifying, assessing and managing IT risk, including cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities Developing and maintaining IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards Implementing and monitoring disaster recovery and business continuity plans Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks (POPIA, GDPR, FICA, and FATCA) Developing, reviewing and updating IT and compliance policies and procedures Conducting regular audits and assessments Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Law 5 years’ experience in IT operations, compliance or similar, within financial servers Financial background and commercial understanding in asset management Strong management experience Experience with IT risk, governance and compliance frameworks Apply now!
