Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties includes but not limited to: Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, reception areas and meeting rooms. Ensure that office waste bins are emptied regularly and that recycling policies are followed. Clean and sanitise office furniture, equipment and high-touch surfaces. Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Administration team. Assist in setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as required. Maintain the exterior cleanliness of the premises, including windows, entrances and walkways. Adhere to health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Serve clients and guests with tea, coffee and refreshments, as well as food when required. Assist with ad hoc duties related to office maintenance, hospitality and general upkeep. Be available to work on weekends when required. Required Qualifications, Experience and Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes): Grade 10 or equivalent qualification (Grade 12 advantageous). Minimum of 2 years experience in a janitorial, cleaning or maintenance role. Experience in serving guests and providing refreshments in a professional setting would be advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment and best practices. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality within the work environment. Good interpersonal skills and professional conduct. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. Required Attributes: Reliable and punctual. Neat, presentable and professional at all times. Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility. Positive attitude and team oriented. Customer service orientated and courteous when dealing with clients and guests.
