Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Junior Front House Floor Manager
Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg
Salary:
R15,000 – R18,000 (negotiable)
Responsibilities:
- Support the front-of-house team with training, scheduling, and daily task delegation.
- Assist in managing service flow and seating arrangements to enhance guest experiences.
- Address minor guest complaints and maintain good communication with guests.
- Help monitor front-of-house expenses with basic knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or associate degree in hospitality management (preferred but not required).
- 2-3+ years of experience in front-of-house roles, including some supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
