Junior Solidworks Mechanical Designer with Mechanical Engineering Diploma – near Fourways JHB Permanent Position Must be willing to work at the Company’s premises every day in Fourways in JHB North Must be willing to relocate if needed. Preferably should have a driver’s license Must have a Mechanical Engineering Diploma Must have a Matric / Grade 12 Must have no less than 3 years working experience at a Company as a Mechanical Designer Must have Mechanical Designing experience using Solidworks Fusion is essential. Must have working designing experience in 3D CAD modelling SolidWorks Finite Element Analysis pneumatic control systems Must have gained work Experience as a Mechanical Designer within the Automation industry Engineering systems OR other Industries – advantage Must have Bom experience (Bills of material) Experience gained design mechanical purpose-built machinery or other Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge Self-motivated and organized Plan and lead medium to large design projects. Perform design reviews. Manage project risks. Conduct complex and high-risk designs. Ensure due diligence and go the extra mile. Must have working experience in mechanical Designing manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable company standards using SolidWorks Fusion only. Read and interpret, technical drawings Work to company CAD and PDM standards. Must have working experience in doing Detailed designs must be done to applicable ISO, SABS and customer standards. Specify system components or direct modifications of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
