About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Bottle Store Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a busy TOPS store in Pretoria (Daspoort). The ideal candidate will have strong retail management, stock control, and sales drive skills, with the ability to manage a small team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing
- Drive sales and ensure store targets and profitability are achieved
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and stock control (including shrinkage)
- Oversee pricing, promotions, and merchandising
- Handle cash-ups, POS, and general admin
- Supervise, train, and manage staff
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve queries
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance
Requirements
Previous experience as a Store Manager / Assistant Manager (liquor or retail preferred)
Strong stock control and cash handling experience
Ability to manage staff and work retail hours (weekends included)
Good communication skills in English
Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
