About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lead Generator to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for proactively generating and qualifying new business leads through various channels. Your expertise in solution-selling and value-based selling principles will enable you to identify client challenges and training needs, ultimately driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate and qualify new business leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Apply value-based and solution-selling principles to identify client challenges and training needs
  • Engage with key decision-makers (HR, L&D, Training Managers, and Executives)
  • Book high-quality appointments and hand over qualified leads to the Business Development / Sales team
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Conduct market research to identify target industries and potential clients
  • Attend networking events and industry engagements where applicable
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and leads on the CRM system

Requirements

  • Previous experience in lead generation, telesales, business development, or client engagement (preferred)
  • Exposure to B2B sales or training/services/solution selling environment is advantageous
  • CRM experience is beneficial
  • Matric (minimum); relevant sales or business qualification is an advantage
