Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Loss Adjuster.

Requirements:

• Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent Essential
• Regulatory Examination Essential
• Forensic Investigation Diploma / Insurance Institute qualification – Advantageous
• Mathematics and African Language – Advantageous
• Forensic Investigation and investigation knowledge.
• 5+ years experience in investigative work/ 2+ years experience in (essential):
  • Insurance
  • Police
  • Forensic
  • Audit
  • Legal
• Basic legal and insurance industry knowledge.
• Be available to travel.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and support sound quality of claims decision making, prevent fraud and manage expenditure.
• Validate claims by investigating, applying expertise and interviewing customers and other parties.
• Accurately administrate and underwrite claims.
• Processing cases, dealing with complicated queries and investigating customer problems.
• Planning activities for training and coaching.
• Provide technical guidance when required.
• Stakeholder management
