A company is seeking a Marketing manager who is proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team with day-to-day operational, creative, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, is comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and is eager to learn about digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management. Fluent in Afrikaans (speaking, typing and writing) Key Responsibilities Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) Support in managing and updating website content, social media posts, and marketing assets Coordinate content creation (copy, images, videos) and maintain brand consistency across all materials Help compile campaign performance reports and track key marketing metrics Manage internal requests for marketing materials, templates, or social media content Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and basic CRM data management Liaise with external vendors and agencies when needed (creative, digital, print) Conduct competitor research and market analysis as requested Help maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of tasks Provide general administrative support to the marketing team Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing, advertising, or communications role Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication (English; Afrikaans a plus) Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools Basic understanding of Google Ads, SEO, and digital marketing principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Minimum Requirement Certification, Diploma or Degree in Marketing or related Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in social media marketing and digital content management . Hands-on experience in managing and growing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.). Experience in updating and maintaining websites , including uploading new content and optimizing for user experience. Working knowledge of SEO principles and Google marketing tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console). Experience in content writing, editing, and editorial production for online or print media. Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar AI tools for content creation, customer engagement, and automation. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage and grow the companys presence across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.). Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content to drive traffic and increase audience engagement. Regularly update and maintain company websites with new content, news, and promotional materials. Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking on Google and other search engines. Develop and manage Google Ads and other digital marketing campaigns to maximize reach and ROI. Write, edit, and proofread editorial content for online and print publication. Utilize ChatGPT and other AI tools to assist in content creation, customer engagement, and marketing automation. Monitor analytics and generate performance reports to measure campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
