Mechanical Draughtsman

Minimum Qualification:
- Mechanical Draughtsman
Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years in mechanical equipment design, highly proficient in machine design.
- Experience in the design of: Rotating equipment; Crushers; Vibrating equipment; and other dynamic equipment would be advantageous. Alternatively: pressure vessels; Clarifiers / Thickeners; mining equipment; earth moving equipment.
- Integral interworking of: Drives, shafts, gears, bearings, plumber blocks, contact rollers. Added experience in sealing systems would be advantageous.
- Site experience in measuring equipment & trouble shooting for the purpose of designing fit-for- purpose solutions.
- Strong references are mandatory.
Key Performance Areas:
Duties:
- Modelling & assemblies and detail drawings of OEM equipment.
- Checking of drawings done by other draughtsmen.
- Site measurements of equipment, chute work, and structures
