About the Role
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced National Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships across South Africa. This role is suited to a commercially driven professional with a strong track record in sales, partnerships, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national business development strategies aligned to organisational goals
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and revenue streams
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Lead negotiations, proposals, and contract discussions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
- Track performance against targets and provide detailed reporting
- Drive brand visibility and market expansion initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development or sales, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience managing national accounts or multi-region portfolios
- Willingness to travel nationally
- Valid driver’s license
